Monument

Monument, CO - North of Colorado Springs

More than a neighborhood, Monument is a community. Near to Colorado Springs and Castle Rock, Monument offers social, religious, school, recreation, and business opportunities for those preferring residence in a smaller, quieter city adjacent to the country. The Monument neighbors were proud when the torch for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games was carried through their streets. Contemporary homes of a wide variety are plentiful in the immediate area and throughout the countryside. Mutual interests of home and community prevail within the full-measure of this welcoming burg.

Monument is a small community located off of I-25, just north of the Air Force Academy. It offers easy access to both Colorado Springs and Denver, and sits just east of Rampart Range and Pike National Forest. Larger lots are available, with horses permitted on some. A mixture of open meadows and stands of native pines characterizes the area. Beautiful Monument Lake is also just west of town.

Schools include: Lewis-Palmer District 38.
Nearby schools include: Lewis-Palmer and Grace Best Elementaries, Lewis-Palmer Middle, and Lewis-Palmer High Schools.
